So what is the translation for unterhören? Is it like to be a bad listener? I am quite often an Unterhörer, if that’s the case.
Well, now that I think about it, to ‘overhear’ something is to hear something you perhaps weren’t supposed to. So ‘underhearing’ could be when you’re talking about someone, they walk in and you think you’re busted, but they totally underheard. Luck-ee!
