My all-time favourite would have to be ‘Auf Wiederriechen!’ (“Smell you later!”). You gotsta get all Der Frisch Prinz on them.

The formula “Auf Wieder…” is only used in acts of communication that involve spoken language.
As a learner of German you will realize that formal written communication has its own set of formulas to be displayed before your signature.

“Riechen” (to smell) is not a conscious communicative act, and it can be argued whether it’s even paralanguage, so it would be foolish to construct such a formula.

Saying “schauen” instead of “sehen” is a local variation of Bavaria. There is nothing elso to explain about it.

Schauen is supposed to be the intentional variant of sehen, I reckon. But in the southern Deutschzone people often mix that up (or try to pretend that they mostly act with intent).

Whether the fact that “Auf Wieder…” is mostly used in acts of communication that involve spoken language is defining or just coincidence is not obvious to me. I would argue that “Auf Wieder…” is used in active (or real-time) communication, so when chatting it would be appropriate. But ok, that’s hairsplitting and eventually the uses (also) create definitions.
