I found this and just couldn’t resist. As I was flicking through an English cuisine magazine (WHAT! It’s hard to find English-language magazines here!), just look at what I found.
Which LOLCAKAOPULIA will volunteer to write a firmly worded letter defending the umlaut?
Let’s put defending the umlaut aside for a moment…
Did I really just read about “English Cuisine”??
The English, to the best of my knowledge, have almost everything imaginable. A royal family, a lost empire (yeah, I am a bit messy myself sometimes, too), hot curries, bad weather, mad cows, but cuisine? no. NO. definitely not. Or did they simply hide it from me, just for the stereotype’s sake? hm…
Whü thought that up?
