Phonetics again: Imitation Brand Miss V!

Aeric Winter, the man who prompted my original Prefixated video, comes over all Miss V as he teaches how to phonetically pronounce his name: “Andreas”. A coup for every Andreas who is sick of having his name mispronounced!

  1. Okay, now everybody: PHIL-IPP. Pretty hard to pronounce so I’m working on a Youtube series to explain the pronunciation. Phonetically.

  2. Nice accent, man… uh, whatever.
The only problem with my name is the many international and wrong spellings there are
    Dominik
    Dominic
    Domenik
    Domenic
    Dominique
    Dominick
    Domenick
That’s a bother, especially in official documents. Nobody ever had a problem pronouncing it in an acceptable way, though.

I guess “Andreas” suffers also from the consonant cluster and from the possible pronunciations of “r”, uvular (High German), alveolar (Bavarian), and palatal (American).
